Boats & Support

Do you need a license to rent a boat?

Our boats require a valid pleasure craft license. If you don’t have one, you can opt to rent with a professional skipper.

Do you offer skippered charters?

Yes, we offer a professional skipper service as an option. This service must be booked in advance and is charged at an additional cost.

Where does the boat pick-up take place?

Boat pick-up is at the Marina de Saint-Martin, with our local partner. The exact meeting point will be communicated to you upon confirmation of your reservation. If necessary, a contact number is available: XX XX XX XX XX.

What are the departure and return times?
Boat rentals are available by the day, with departures starting at 9:00 a.m. and return times requested no later than 6:00 p.m. Schedules may be adjusted depending on boat availability and sailing conditions.
What types of boats do you offer for charter?

We offer a selection of modern, well-maintained motorboats, suitable for coastal cruising and day trips. All are equipped for onboard comfort and safety.

How many people can board?

Horizon boat boats can accommodate up to 13 people. The maximum number must be strictly adhered to for safety reasons.

Options, activities and destinations

How do additional options and services work?

All services and benefits purchased outside of boat rental (meals, drinks, nautical accessories, etc.) must be paid for on site, on the day of departure, directly to our partner.

What care should be taken with optional equipment and accessories?

Optional equipment (paddleboarding, snorkeling, water skiing, etc.) is provided in perfect working order. It must be returned in the same condition. Any damage may result in additional charges. We, as well as our partner, cannot be held liable for any incident related to the use of this equipment.

Can we add last-minute services on the day of departure?

Yes, subject to availability, certain options (such as drinks or water sports accessories) can be added on the day. Payment is then made directly to our partner.

What destinations can we discover?

Depending on sailing conditions, it is possible to explore the coasts of Saint-Martin, the island of Tintamarre, Pinel Islet, or even Anguilla and Saint-Barthélemy (clearance required).

Rates, booking and conditions

What is included in the rental?

The price includes:

  • Boat rental for the day, including use of all onboard equipment (life jackets, navigation equipment, comfort equipment, etc.).

  • Local taxes and port fees.

What costs are not included in the price?

Not included:

  • Fuel, which remains the responsibility of the renter.

  • Options purchased at the time of booking (meals, drinks, water sports accessories such as paddleboards, water skis, snorkeling equipment, etc.), to be paid on site on the day of rental.

  • Customs clearance fees if you wish to sail to Anguilla or Saint Barthélemy.

Insurance and security deposit
  • A security deposit of $3,500 is required at the start of the rental period. This deposit can be paid in cash or by credit card imprint (check your available funds and bank limits for the day of departure).

  • The boat is insured for recreational boating. Optional additional insurance can be purchased (e.g., excess waiver, cancellation, assistance).

Can I cancel or change my reservation?

Yes, subject to the conditions specified at the time of booking. Fees may apply depending on the cancellation period. In the event of adverse weather conditions, a postponement of the outing may be offered, subject to availability.

Is there a deposit to pay when booking?

Yes, a deposit of X% of the total amount is required to confirm your reservation. The balance is due before the day of departure.

How can I pay for my rental?
Payments can be made by credit card, PayPal, bank transfer, or cash. Details are provided at the time of booking.

Safety, liability and special conditions

Does the boat meet safety standards?

All our boats comply with current regulations and are equipped with mandatory safety devices. A brief presentation of the onboard equipment is given before each departure.

What to do in case of a technical problem or emergency at sea

An emergency number is provided before departure. In case of technical or weather-related issues, please contact our team or the local maritime services. Our boats are equipped with appropriate communications equipment.

Can I board with children or people with reduced mobility?

Yes, our boats are accessible to children. Please let us know in advance so we can provide you with the appropriate equipment and arrangements.
